    In Scotland a large dog bit off the upper lip of a three-year old girl as she was eating ice cream and swallowed it.The lip was retrieved from the dog's stomach and sewn back on the girl's mouth.

    DR.ANI MAL was a famous veterinary surgeon but he tended to be careless and often left things like forceps and scissors,in the body of the animal he had operated upon.One day he had to operate on an elephant.Throughout the operation,the nurse,a small but stern-faced woman,kept reminding him that he should make sure that no instrument was left behind.Finally the surgery was over.The great doctor was very pleased with the way he had handled the delicate operation."Didn't leave anything behind this time,did I,nurse?" he asked as he washed his hands at the sink.Getting no answer he turned around and found to his horror that though all his instruments were there,the nurse was missing!

    Make It Yourself
    You will need:One pair of white ribbed socks, Needle and thread, Stuffing, Fabric bits, Paints and Glue.
    1.Cut the ribbing of one of the socks fully(A) and the other,partially(B)
    2.Stuff sock (B)
    3.Tie a string tightly around the toe portion to form a round head
    4.The heel portion makes a plump rear so that your doll can sit easily
    5.Stuff and sew the leg seams tucking the raw edges inside
    6.Stich up the seams of the ribbed part cut from sock(A)
    7.Stuff them and sew them in place.They make the hands and legs of your doll
    8.Dress up your doll with bits of colored fabric, a bead chain and fabric paint
    9.Glue on to the top of her head strands of colored wool
    10.Now your very own Stuffed Doll is ready for the Party
